It's like a race out of my nose, and everyone is winning!

Gah,

It has been a fairly boring miserable week. I have not been feeling so well, and that all came to a peak yesterday, when I woke up and realized taht Death was lodged deep in my throat. I don't know what I had, but it was not fun. I couldn't swallow anything without the help of eight teas per hour. My tonsils made Star Jones look like an Oompa-Loompa. That left a passage way for air the size of George Bush's vocabulary.

And this morning it started to clear up, which isn't as good as it sounds. When my body dispells sickness it does so by pouring all bodily fluids through my nose. I didn't even know I had that much mucus in me. I went through a box and half of kleenex on my own.

But enough about my bodily fluids...(Sadly I say that WAY too often). I managed to survive two days of Jewishness. it was a Jewish holiday on Monday and Tuesday. Shavuot is when we celebrate getting the Torah. The only problem is that the only people I really have contact with during those days is my family. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my family, but they are crazy. My Father is silent and anti-social, and breaths at the same volume of a jet engine. My mother is certifiabely crazy. She speaks to herself under the disguise of talking to the radio (even when it isn't on). My middle brother is a raging metrosexual that was born a crotchety old man, and complains about things like bad subway ettiquette, and other old man stuff, while wearing his gay dutch Munchkin shoes.

Thank goodness for my two adorable nephews, the joys of my like. Spanky and Squishy. Spanky (almost four), is a genious, although a bit of a weak sissy. He knows three alphabets as of last week (English, American Sign Language and Hebrew) and can speak and read English and Hebrew fluenty. It is actually a little scary. But what I love about him is his creativity. He is always making up stories and such, really original ones.

And Squishy (four months) is just...well...cute and squishy. He reminds me of the baby from Disney's Tarzan. I can't wait to see what personality he will develop.

But I am drained (both of energy and fluids) so it is off to bed for me.
