In which Akiva gets his EYEBROW PIERCED!!!

Yes,

That is right ladies and gents, and all in between. Akiva took the plunge and got a piercing. After ALL my friends telling me they would disown me if I got a septum peircing, I decided on an eyebrow barbell. And it LOOKS GREAT...I know that sounds egotistical, but what I guess i mean by that is it makes me feel really great, which is important.



There is kind of a funny story behind this one...I woke up on Tuesday morning with no intention of getting a piercing till November. I went to class and my friend Krista was telling me she was going to get a Marylin piercing, which is a stud on the upper lip, off to the side of the mouth...like a metal beauty mark. She asked me if i wanted to come with her so I said yeah. The whole day I was wondering whether I should get my eyebrow done or not, but in the end I just went for it...AND LOVE IT.

All my friends seem to love it, and say it really suits me. But is another person uses the word "badass" or "hardcore" I may gag. Oh and as of this post I have yet to tell my parents about it. The only family member that knows is my middle brother who reamed me out on MSN abuot how non_jewish it is and how disrespectful to our parents it was to do it wothout asking and stuff. We have never really talked before, so this kind of discussionwas intense, but I'm glad we had it cuz it was reall good to get some stuff said. Hah...what's funiest was that he had bright neon red/pink hair in High School and he wants a bullring...?



Anyways. I hope you all like it, but I'm fine with it if you dont, because the most impotant thing is that I love it and feel really confident with it and kind of feel complete is a very fucking weird way. Oh did i mention that it didn't hurt at ALL, and that it didn't swell or redden at ALL, and that I keep it very very clean.
