Back to School!
Today I visited Wisewood for the first time in a year, adn the second time in two years. Rielle was performing her monologue, and invited me to come see, so I did. First of all she was amazing. Second of all, Ms. Harper, my drama teacher, seemed genuinely glad to see me and interested in what I was doing. Which is a surprise, because last time I went to visit she barely even said hello. Hah...she even made me stand in front of the class and talk about my experience over the past two years.
Then I went and visited Ms. Molstad. That was actually really cool. She was my high school art teacher. It was just really fun to catch up, on each other's lives, and talk about our futures. It wasn't just me talking, but both of us. It was just cool to have a more adult kind of two-way conversation with a teacher, because back in high school they wouldn't really talk about their personal lives. It was also cool to show my teachers that I am grateful for what they tought me, and that I am putting what I learned to good use.
Good Times,
Akiva
